Patrick E. Pullen is a fantasy illustrator, cartographer, writer, and game designer who has spent decades creating fantasy and science fiction art, and the things that lurk in the dark. Working in pencil, pen and ink, acrylic, watercolor, and digital paint, he is drawn to themes that are dark and haunting. Beyond the drawing table, he is an established fantasy mapmaker and the author of numerous game books and short stories.

He is the creator, lead designer, cartographer, and a contributing artist of Darkworld, a dark-fantasy setting spanning novels, adventure modules, and a tabletop RPG setting and rule set, all on Torbalin, a world split between darkness and light. His published work includes the Legends of Lornea anthology, the Darkworld RPG Setting, and Terror at Murkwell.
